In case you missed, former Safaricom CEO, Michael Joseph is the new Maseno University Chancellor. Students want him to ensure the university has unlimited Wi-Fi. Students wrote their request on notice boards and social media. The former Safaricom CEO replaces Prof Florida Amakobe.
Michael Joseph is expected to revolutiolize education at the university, which offers IT with every course. “Joseph was simply appointed to replicate what he did at Safaricom, nothing more,” Dr Edwin Opiyo of the School of Education.
Well, let's wait and see what he can do, he definitely has a great track record.
