Kenya full of young Entrepreneurs

According to Forbes Kenya is on the list of 30 promising young entrepreneurs in Africa 2014. Out of 30 entrepreneurs listed, Kenya takes nine spot on the list.




It is amazing how young people are becoming innovative, risk takers and creative. These are the people who want to experience personal growth and also be their own bosses. They are also the people who fail but they do not give up, they make mistakes but they do not quit. They want to explore new possibilities in the market and make the world a better place. These are entrepreneurs that are prepared to face new challenges and do not run away from them.

Here is the list of young promising entrepreneurs in Kenya 2014 according to Forbes

Eric Kinoti

Eric Kinoti is 29 years old. He is the proprietor of Shades System East Africa, a company that manufactures and supplies tents. Shades System East Africa makes about 150 million per annum.

Ronak Shah

Ronak Shah is 26 years old. He is the proprietor of Kronex Chemicals Ltd, a company that manufactures two products; dishwashing liquid and a multi-purpose detergent. The company was founded on 2003.

Heshan de Silva

Heshan de Silva is 25 years old. He is the proprietor of DSGVenCap, a company that makes seed investments in the tech, media, agribusiness and consumer industries in Kenya.

Barclay Paul

Barclay Paul is 22 years of age. Paul is the proprietor of Impact Africa Industries, a company that produces low cost sanitary pads. The company is located in Kitale, and has 23 workers.

Mike Muthiga

Mike Muthiga is 26 years of age. Mike is the founder of Fatboy Animation, a company that produces 3 and 2 dimensional animation for both film and commercial use. He is behind the funny ‘Faimba’ and ‘Mazgwembe’ adverts on local TV.

Danson Muchemi

Danson Muchemi is 29 years of age. He is the founder of WebTribe Kenya, IT Company that deals with operations in online payment systems, web applications and network security.

Joel Mwale

Joel Mwale is 21 years old. He is the proprietor of SkyDrop Enterprises, a company that produces low-cost purified drinking water, milk and other dairy products.

Lorna Rutto

Lorna Rutto is 28 years of age. Lorna is the proprietor of Ecopost, a company that collects plastic waste and manufactures fencing posts from it.

Kimiti Wanjaria

Kimiti Wanjara is 30 years old. Kimiti is a co-founder of Serene Valley Properties, Real Estate Development Company. Serene Valley Properties is behind Sigona Valley development that boasts 34 and three bedroom stand-alone houses with ample parking.
