Daniel Sturridge was a happy man on Wednesday. And not just because of his Merseyside derby double the night before.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the in-form striker paraded his new wheels on the streets of Liverpool, a car which only one with Premier League wages could afford.
Sturridge’s stunning new £200,000 Ferrari 458 – which has a top speed of 202mph and does 0-60mph in just 3.3 seconds – is one of the first of its type in the UK. The car is almost as quick as the play between himself and Luis Suarez in the 4-0 win over Everton at Anfield, then.
