Dj Mo Arrested by Popo Over Tinted Window and failure to give them Bribe! SMH!!

Gospel DJ Mo was arrested on Monday by three policemen after he allegedly refused to bribe them for driving in a tinted vehicle. DJ Mo was taken to Naivasha police post where he recorded a statement, and was later released.

Gospel artist Mr. Seed who was traveling from a concert in Kitale, witnessed the whole incident after he alighted from his car to find out what was happening. He was surprised because DJ Moh has never had problems with the police from the little specks of tint.

DJ Moh was accompanied by his wife Size 8 to the police station in Naivasha, and being a Christian, DJ Mo was not going to put up with corruption.

Raila’s referendum is officially dead as RUTO and Governors drop it - Uhuru/ Ruto win

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, have once again beaten former Prime Minister Raila Odinga hands down as far as the referendum is concerned.

This is after they reined in on Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto and all Governors who were pushing for Pesa Mashinani referendum to abandon the plebiscite.

Speaking at a harambee in Baringo North yesterday, Ruto, who is also the chair of the Governors’ Council, announced their official withdrawal from the Pesa Mashinani referendum, which is also being spearheaded by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga under the banner of Okoa Kenya.

Instead, the Bomet Governor asked Uhuru/ Ruto to tell their MPs and Senators to pass the Bill that will see Counties receive 45% of the national revenue up from the current 15%, saying there was no need to waste resources going to a referendum when the issue can be addressed through the National Assembly and the Senate.

“We are officially announcing that as Governors, we have dropped the push for the referendum but urge the Government.to address our concerns through legislation in Parliament,” said Ruto.

The move deals Raila Odinga a big and humiliating blow as he is now left alone and on his own and his referendum may be as good as dead.

Njoki Chege Strikes Again… Attacks Roysambu, Kinoo and South B Men

I’m starting to accept the notion that Njoki Chege will end up fat, old and single. She has received enough backlash for her articles on
the Nation, yet that only cements her views.

The last time she generated as much hate as yesterday, it was when she wrote that fat women are to blame if their husbands cheat on them. Now on Friday, she wrote a lengthy article attacking the dignity of decent Kenyan men.

She said she will not look at you twice if the idea of fun is a weekend at Masaku 7s or Naxvegas. She also had some unkind words for men who live in Roysambu, Kinoo and South B.

Here’s the article as published by the Nation.

The last one week, I reconnected with two male friends I had not seen for ages. The lingering question was ‘So are you dating?” Or ‘Iko kajamaa kamekufurahisha?” (Is there a young man that has impressed you?).

I am not dating anyone right now, I tell them as I hastily move on to the next topic before they demand answers.

Even my mother, who for as long as I can remember always told me how ‘boys are bad’, is now asking if I am bringing a ‘friend’ this Christmas. Sorry mom, I will be flying solo this Christmas, and the next one too.

I sigh every time a well-meaning person asks me why I am not dating. Mostly, the answers I give skirt around ‘I am too busy with work and school,” or ‘Jesus is the
only man in my life’. Okay, maybe the second answer is a lie, there are quite a number of them but that is not the story here. The real answer, ladies and gentlemen, is because there is simply no men my age to date.

GUYS I SHOULD DATE
I am a few weeks shy of 25 years, which means that the guys I should date should
be aged around 28-30 years Maybe 33 years if I am to stretch it.
But the unfortunate thing I have come to realise is that the young men I am.supposed to date are far from being men.

They are boys. Tall boys with blue Subaru Imprezzas who drink cheap liquor on weekday nights and show up to their workplaces the next morning hangovered, smelling like a brewery.

Now, I lead quite a busy life Actually, my.life is busier than a brothel in a sailor town. (Hahaha, wrong example).

I am either at work or at school or
sleeping off the fatigue on weekends. My nights are late, either working or studying. Or maybe binge watching episodes of Scandal and Covert Affairs.

This means I am a rare woman to pin down. Which also means that I give you.an hour of my time from my busy schedule, then you must have really impressed me.
I am not wasting any more time with this i-Phone wielding 29-year-old jamaaz whose only goal in life is to catch a few drinks at that goddamn strip club on Baricho Road that has very few millionaires.

I cannot have a coherent meaningful conversation with these young Instagram braggats who feel the need to take photos.of every bottle of cheap lager they
imbibe. I am way beyond them and their intelligence levels are nowhere near half of mine. We are on different wavelengths.

BROKE MAN
Who has time for a man whose idea of fun is Masaku sevens and “NaxVegas’. Not me! How, pray do tell, do I get into a relationship with a young man whose only achievement is that cut-rate Toyota Mark X whose car loan he is struggling to pay?

Are you telling me that I will stoop so low as to be with a man who gets broke on the fifteenth of every month and his is the only mouth that he feeds? How is he supposed to take care of a family?

I am sick and tired of going out with
these young men who drink themselves silly, mixing low-end lagers and counterfeit whiskey only to black out on me. I am a highly respectable woman in this society, not your mother

A lot of girls my age would be impressed by a jamaa who buys them shots of fake tequila on Electric Avenue and take them
for Masaku sevens on weekends but not me. First, I don’t drink alcohol and secondly, I don’t do cheap gigs. So try.harder, young fella, it takes more than liquor lines and lies to impress me.

Because I cannot stand these little boys who hate on strong-opinionated women like me on Twitter from the discomfort of their poorly finished one bedroom apartments in Kinoo, Roysambu and South B, I go for the refined older men who add value to that precious one hour off my busy schedule.

Who wants to chat on WhatsApp with a guy juggling his limited data bundles between Instagram, Twitter and chatting four other girls on WhatsApp, Viber and Skype?

REFINED MEN
The refined men, on the other hand, are a slice of heaven. They are critical thinkers.

They are gentlemen of chivalry. They are experienced. They are well groomed. They.have class. They can manage their alcohol. They are independent. They are
not like these little 29-year-old sexually frustrated emotional leeches I avoid.

They don’t brag and they drive cars worth Sh3 million. You drive a Subaru Imprezza worth Sh850,000 and I won’t hear the last of it. Some of these older men are not
even on Twitter. Unfortunately, all the gentlemen that tickle my fancy are all married! Nothing could be more heartbreaking than this.
Every night, I ask the Lord, why, oh Lord why, are all the good men in this world married? Why are all the Instagram Braggats and Twitter Idiots still alive?

I am yet to meet my ideal kind of man. Not that I have a list. Okay, maybe I need him to be no shorter than six foot two inches, no younger than 34 years, can manage his alcohol and those who are financially blessed are encouraged to apply.

If we can have an intelligent conversation, even better. Are you the man for me?

President Uhuru is not a tribal leader like Raila and loves LUOs-See what he did for GOR

President Uhuru Kenyatta once again disproved his haters and proved to the nation that indeed he is not a tribal leader like some people and loves all tribes of Kenya regardless of who they voted for in the last General
Election.

This is after he joined the rest of Kenyans in celebrating Gor Mahia on wining this year’s Kenya Premier League (KPL) title.

Uhuru was among the few notable figures that sent congratulatory messages to Gor Mahia on winning the league despite its ethnic composition and recent acts of hooliganism witnessed from Gor fans in Machakos County.

“Congratulations Gor on winning the Kenya Premier League. We are truly proud of you,” said Uhuru.

Gor Mahia won the title after beating Ushuru FC 3 goals to nil in Kisumu at the match that was also attended by the team’s patron, who is also former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, as their closest challenger Sofapaka drew 2-2 with Tusker FC.

And to show how loving our President is, Uhuru was among those who contributed handsomely to Gor Mahia in the fundraiser held at Railways Club last week.

Uhuru also showed his love for Luos when he visited Kibra, a constituency largely inhabited by the Luo Community, immediately he landed from South Sudan to see for himself how the National Youth Service (NYS) are progressing on with a clean up exercise and other projects.

It is RAILA ODINGA who organized my beating at Orange House-MAGERER LANGAT

Embattled Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Executive Director, Magerer Langat, on Saturday said it is former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, who organized his beating at Orange House two weeks ago.

In an extensive interview with one of the local dailies, Magerer , who is also the former Kipkelion MP said  it is ODM party leader, Raila Odinga , who organized  his beating to frustrate and eventually force him out of the position.

“We have information that the party leader coordinated the attack,” Raila said.
Langat said his woes in ODM began weeks to the botched February 28 elections, which were disrupted by goons who have come to be known as Men-In-Black.

“Prior to the elections, attempts were made by those who were in the delegates’ list favoured by the party leader to edit it to suit them but I resisted. The intention was to infiltrate the register and allow dubious characters to become delegates,” Magerer said.

He said Raila has been coordinating all the chaos in ODM with the assistance with his militias known as Men in Black.

God bless Mike Sonko - Look at what he did to this destitute orphans on Kiss 100

It seems Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, has emulated his friend and mentor President Uhuru Kenyatta in helping needy Kenyans.

On Tuesday, Sonko pledged to assist two siblings who were forced to fend for themselves after the death of their mother.

The incident happened after a lady
identified as Maija called Kiss 100 and asked to be assisted with her dire situation.

The lady revealed how her mother died in 2011 leaving her and her 19-year-old brother, then 16, to fend for themselves.

She said the house which her mother had bought was taken over by an uncle after the death of their mother.

She said things turned worse after her brother was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia and this forced her to request relatives for help.

Maija said she went to live with relatives who begun mistreating her and using her as the house help.

“Some friends of my mum called me and said I should stay with them. While staying with them they really treated me badly.

They made me their house maid doing everything. When I find men inside the houses they would rape me in turns,” Maija said.

When Sonko was called to assist, the flamboyant MP said he will foot all their bills and take the two siblings as his children.

God bless Sonko…

Don’t ever mock GOD… Moses Wetangula has learnt a lesson – God can stop referendum! Friday

Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, is on record saying even God the Almighty cannot stop calls for the referendum initiated by CORD leader, Raila Odinga.

Wetangula, who was speaking at his
Bungoma County said “the referendum is unstoppable” and mocked Jubilee supporters saying even if they pray like the Pharisees, nothing can stop the clamour for the plebiscite.

But as the scriptures say “Never underestimate God,” Wetangula is currently admitted at the Aga Khan
Hospital, Kisumu after he collapsed at the airport on his way to referendum meetings.

The vocal Senator developed breathing problems on board a Jambo Jet, where he collapsed forcing the Airline staff to rush him to Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.

Doctors at the hospital said Wetangula almost met his maker but God gave him a second chance.

We hope Wetangula has learnt a lesson that “God can stop everything” including Okoa Kenya and Pesa Mashinani referendum.

Mutahi Ngunyi says Raila Odinga‘s ODM is a sinking ship - I will collapse soon!

Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, on Thursday said ODM is disintegrating because it is in a situation where the “old wine is no longer good for the new wineskin.”

In an interview with Citizen TV Mutahi said the current rebellion in ODM is between old guards led by former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, and young turks led by firebrand Budalang’i MP, Ababu Namwamba and Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho.

He said if Raila and his coterie keep on refusing change in ODM, the Orange party will likely end up being a one tribe partybecause the few Kalenjins and Luhyas remaining will bolt out of the party.

Mutahi said Raila is no longer in charge of the party and it is hooligans led by former Nairobi Mayor, George Aladwa and Wafula Buke, who are calling shots in ODM.

However, regarding the Thursday meeting of Namwamba, Magerer Langat, Gideon Mung’aro and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Mutahi said Raila cannot be shaken
by such kind of meetings because he is a master in politics.

“Raila is not the kind of a person you can surprise with sabotage; he’s an engineer in the politics of sabotaging,” Mutahi said.

Hassan Joho’s fake degree comes back to haunt him as DPP reopens case and vows to jail him

The just concluded case regarding Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho’s degree has taken another twist after Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Keriako Tobiko reopened the case.

Speaking through social media, Tobiko ordered for fresh investigations into the alleged forgery of a degree certificate by Joho, which qualified him to run for
Governorship in the 2013 elections.

This follows a petition by the complainant, Silas Otuke, who challenged the qualification of Joho to run for Governor.

In his petition, Otuke claimed that Joho forged his degree papers from the Kampala University since he never attended any class in that university even though the university claimed the degree was genuine.

Last month, the High Court in Mombasa dismissed the petition challenging Joho’s degree certificate as premature because the petitioner had not exhausted all other Constitutional mechanisms to determine the validity of the degree.

However, Tobiko has vowed to jail Joho if new investigations will find him guilty of forgery and he will lose his seat as Governor too.

a Luopean Washing His Hands With Johnnie Walker

Well, they say being Luo is a lifestyle and extravagance is the defining trait of any Luo.

Just when you thought you had seen all the stunts our friends from Nyanza can pull they keep coming up with new ones. This guy was
spotted observing hygiene with a bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold label.

The highlight of the photo however is the seated lady looking like she is counting the losses drop by drop. Priceless.

Check it out

What a President we have!! What UHURU KENYATTA did at JKIA on Sunday! RAILA ODINGA should see this

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday afternoon shocked Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) staff when he toured the facility without any of his bodyguards.

The President who was driving his Range Rover Sport toured the airport's Ebola Screening Section to assess the standards of operation.

Police manning the gate were the first to recognize him and they escorted him to the airport as he mingled with normal civilians who were shocked to see him without any of his PEU body guards.

The father of the nation even left the airport without his security and drove off in the same Range Rover he came with.

Sources at State House said the President drove himself from his residence next to State House, Nairobi, passed through that small drift that passes through CFC Life building before joining Kenyatta Avenue at the intersection with Serana Hotel, went through Uhuru Highway to North Airport Road leading to JKIA.

Uhuru is the first President in Kenya’s history to tour public places without any body guard. This is not the first time he has done this. Mid this year, he shocked a maize hawker near Prestige Plaza when he stopped his Range Rover, lowered his side window and bought roasted maize from him before going towards Yaya Centre.

Uhuru seems to have "copied" the outgoing Uruguay President Jose Mujica who has no bodyguards or motorcade whenever he visits some parts of his country including his rural home.

But in contrast, Uhuru is one of the richest presidents in Africa while Mujica is the poorest President in the world.

Abandoned Fuel Guzzlers – Judiciary Wastes Millions By Dumping Old Mercedes

Last week, we were treated to the,Chief Justice house saga between the CJ Willy Mutunga and former chief registrar Gladys Boss Shollei.

Over 300 million shillings was allegedly used to buy a house of the CJ, but it was never used. I’m pretty sure we’ve not seen the last of that.

However as you’ll see from the pictures below, the real waste may not even be on that house, but these expensive German machines that have been recklessly dumped.

This is a judiciary yard in Nairobi, and you can see that most of these Mercedes Benz are in good shape, or they were when they were abandoned. You can bet that very senior officials were driving these and when newer ones came into the market, they ended up here.

Someone should investigate this ASAP.

Look at how journalists embarrassed RAILA ODINGA on Wednesday's MCA meeting - He does not buy lunch!

Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, was on Wednesday afternoon embarrassed badly after journalists walked out of his meeting in protest.

The incident happened at Gracia Gardens in Nairobi where he was scheduled to brief ODM MCAs over the progress of the referendum.

Journalists who had turned at the event as early as 11.00 am waited for hours before Raila Odinga arrived at the venue.

The journalists at first demanded that Raila Odinga addresses them before the MCAs saying they were hungry and CORD leaders do not offer them lunch.

When Raila Odinga refused to address them, they protested and walked out of his meeting in protest.

Efforts to convince them to cover the meeting were fruitless but a few went back.
Meanwhile, CORD coalition has postponed the re-launch of its Okoa Kenya campaign planned for this Sunday to next month.

Go to hell with your evidence, we’ll proceed without it - EACC tells RAILA ODINGA’s CORD

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has told former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Coalition for Reforms And Democracy (CORD) to go to hell with its so called ‘evidence’ with regard to the 134-acres of disputed Karen Land, which the Opposition alleged, was grabbed by powerful Jubilee leaders led by Deputy President, William Ruto.

Speaking yesterday, EACC Spokesman Yassim Aila noted that their investigations into the alleged land grabbing in Karen will go on with or without CORD’s evidence.

“The commission’s investigation is proceeding and we were not relying on Raila Odinga’s CORD evidence and dossier to jumpstart inquiries. If they have useful information, let them bring it to boost what we already have and if they don’t want to share the information, it is well and good
because we don’t depend on them in this investigation,” said Aila.

The EACC was reacting to Wednesday’s incident in which CORD legislators James Orengo, Johnston Muthama and Boni Khalwale snubbed the commission for the second time refusing to produce the evidence they have on the grabbed Karen land.

World abandons RAILA, pours praises on UHURU - Look what BAN KI-MOON & World Bank said

Barely two weeks after United Nations (UN) used former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to observe elections on its behalf in Mozambique, the world
seems to have abandoned him and jumped on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s side.

This was evident on Wednesday following a high powered meeting between President Kenyatta with UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, and World Bank President, Jim Yong Kim, together with other development partners at State House.

Addressing a joint Press Conference, the world leaders poured praises on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his leadership saying he is the best thing that ever happened to Kenya and Africa.

Ban Ki-moon commended Uhuru and his Government for the invaluable support they are offering in the region in terms of leadership, peace and humanitarian assistance to refugees and pledged full support for Jubilee.

Similar sentiments were echoed by the World Bank President who also committed to helping Uhuru realize devolution dreams in terms of expertise and resources.

“I am extremely encouraged by Uhuru’s leadership in Kenya and the World Bank has engaged in Kenya’s development challenges and opportunities,” said the World Bank President.

“Uhuru’s commitment to entrenching devolution makes a meaningful contribution to development at the grassroots and I assure him of my commitment to bringing the best knowledge and solutions from all over the world to ensure success of devolution,” he continued.

Others who held similar views were
representatives of Africa Development Bank, EU, AU and Islamic Development Bank.

rowdy ODM youths and MCAs rough Up MAGERER at Orange House

Magerer Langat kicked and slapped several times by the rowdy Nairobi county representatives.

ODM Executive Director Magerer Langat being bundled out of the party's parliamentary group meeting on October 30, 2014.

Rowdy Nairobi county representatives on Thursday ejected and roughed up ODM Executive Director Magerer Langat from the party's parliamentary group meeting.

Initial reports indicate the MCAs were irked by Mr Langat's claims that “the party is dead” and that its leader, Mr Raila Odinga, was “old” and should resign".

The MCAs claimed that Mr Lang'at was a mole of the Jubilee coalition.
Mr Langat was kicked and slapped several times by the MCAs, who were led by ODM Majority Leader Mr Elias Otieno.

The group also deflated Mr Langat’s car tyres.

“He said ODM party is dead and that the party leader should resign. Why then did he attend a meeting for a dead party?” posed Mr Otieno
soon after the drama was over.

“That is why as MCAs we have taken that action because our parliamentarians are asleep.

“Magerer Langat has been a liability to this party and doesn’t add any value to the party.
We don’t want to see him again here. If he wants to remain in the party he should do so as a member not an executive,” added the Kileleshwa ward representative.

Mr Langat was whisked to safety by police, who were stationed outside Orange House, the party's headquarters.

ODM acting Secretary-General Anyang' Nyong'o said the party would probe incident.

Trouble started when the MCAs forced themselves into a tent where the parliamentary group meeting was being chaired by Mr
Odinga.

They were joined by rowdy youths who were within the compound.

Like MUTAHI NGUNYI, LUO elders say RAILA has no chance; UHURU/ RUTO will beat him

The Luo Council of Elders has advised former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to retire from active politics and go back to Bondo because he has no chance of becoming the President of Kenya.
Speaking in Kisumu on Sunday, the
council’s splinter group, led by former Chairman Riaga Ogallo, said Raila Odinga has very slim chances of defeating President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, in 2017.

Riaga noted that Uhuru/ Ruto have made very significant political strides with their unique leadership style that is laced with development across the country and that it would be difficult for Raila to convince Kenyans otherwise.

“Uhuru/ Ruto have made huge political strides with their down-to-earth leadership style which has earned them support across the country. With this in mind together with development around the country, Raila Odinga has no chance,” said Riaga.

Similar sentiments had earlier been shared by renowned political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi who said the former PM had no chance of becoming the President of Kenya ever because generational change already took place with Uhuru/ Ruto and that no one will ever again opt to elect a dinosaur like Raila.

OMAR HASSAN swears to make RAILA ODINGA’s 2017 Presidential bid a nightmare

Wiper Party leaders and their Ford Kenyan counterparts in the Coastal region have condemned Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) over
its intent to make former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, a sole Presidential candidate under CORD in 2017.

Speaking yesterday, Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan, who is also a Wiper legislator, and the Deputy Chairman of Ford Kenya in the region, Joel Ruhu, faulted the move by ODM legislators to have Raila Odinga as an automatic CORD torchbearer in 2017 saying the three CORD principals must undergo nomination.

The two leaders noted that already, their party boses, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) have made it abundantly clear that they will not step down for Raila Odinga just like that but will have to beat them at the nominations to win the CORD ticket; otherwise, business will never be as usual in CORD.

They vowed to make Raila Odinga’s
Presidential bid a nightmare should ODM short-change them and give the former PM a direct CORD ticket to vie for Presidency in 2017.

RAILA ODINGA to go into hiding from tomorrow as UHURU visits LUO Nyanza for 3 days

As residents of Kisumu wait with anxiety for the three-day visit by President Uhuru Kenyatta beginning on Wednesday this week through to Friday, one man is likely not to be in town, let alone attend the functions.

A reliable source within the Orange
Democratic Movement (ODM) told The media that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga may go into hiding as Uhuru visits Nyanza and will never attend any of those functions despite the trip having been put off twice for him to be
present when the President visits.

The source further said Raila Odinga will be out of town – Kisumu - and will never be anywhere near there for the three days Uhuru will be in Luo Nyanza because he will be engaged elsewhere.

On Saturday, the former PM dismissed allegations that he was feeling uneasy about Uhuru’s planned tour, noting that Uhuru’s visit to Nyanza does not bother him at all because he can visit anytime he wants without necessarily accompanying him or having to be there when he visits.

RAILA ODINGA given the last warning and told to shut up over UHURU/ RUTO’s ICC cases

Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, has been warned to stop commenting about the cases facing President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Speaking yesterday at Moiben, Deputy President William Ruto’s URP legislators, led by Kericho Senator, Charles Keter, said it was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who fixed Uhuru/ Ruto at The Hague and that he should stop shedding crocodile tears purporting to call on the ICC to terminate their cases swiftly.

“Why is Raila Odinga shedding crocodile tears calling on the ICC to terminate Uhuru/Ruto’s cases? Is he not the one who fixed them?” wondered Keter.

“We want to tell him that we don’t need his help to end Uhuru/ Ruto’s cases. In fact, he should shut up and stop commenting the cases,” he added.

Upon his return from the US and
Mozambique recently, Raila Odinga called on the ICC to terminate Uhuru/ Ruto’s cases swiftly saying the ICC cases do not benefit the Opposition in any way contrary to allegations by Jubilee that he’s using The Hague-based court to ascend to power through the backdoor.

2 Different Portraits of Uhuru… Who Nailed It?

24 year old Collins Okello has received quite the recognition for his portrait of President Uhuru in full military uniform.

He posted photos of the pencil art work on social media last week and is now on his way to State House to meet the Commander in Chief.

After that portrait went viral, I
remembered it’s not.
It’s credited to a guy by the name Ferguson.

So between Collins and Ferguson, who nailed
it?

Is RAILA ODINGA a master of double speak? Currently conducting a harambee in Kisii

Last week former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, called on Uhuru/ Ruto to ban harambees because the Jubilee Government is using them to bribe citizens, who support his referendum push.

When calling for the ban on Harambees, Raila said the Jubilee Government should instead increase money to the Counties to help citizens in development across the country.

But one week later after calling for this, the former PM is conducting a harambee in aid of the Lutheran Church in Bobasi constituency in Gusii land.

Raila, who is accompanied by Kisii Governor, James Ongwae, is presiding over the harambee despite calling Deputy President, William Ruto, to stop fund raisers arguing that he is using them to enrich himself.

This also comes at a time the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has raised a red flag over how politicians and state officers are misusing public funds through harambees.

Is Raila among politicians who preach water and drink wine or is he a master of double speak?
