President Uhuru Kenyatta once again disproved his haters and proved to the nation that indeed he is not a tribal leader like some people and loves all tribes of Kenya regardless of who they voted for in the last General
Election.
This is after he joined the rest of Kenyans in celebrating Gor Mahia on wining this year’s Kenya Premier League (KPL) title.
Uhuru was among the few notable figures that sent congratulatory messages to Gor Mahia on winning the league despite its ethnic composition and recent acts of hooliganism witnessed from Gor fans in Machakos County.
“Congratulations Gor on winning the Kenya Premier League. We are truly proud of you,” said Uhuru.
Gor Mahia won the title after beating Ushuru FC 3 goals to nil in Kisumu at the match that was also attended by the team’s patron, who is also former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, as their closest challenger Sofapaka drew 2-2 with Tusker FC.
And to show how loving our President is, Uhuru was among those who contributed handsomely to Gor Mahia in the fundraiser held at Railways Club last week.
Uhuru also showed his love for Luos when he visited Kibra, a constituency largely inhabited by the Luo Community, immediately he landed from South Sudan to see for himself how the National Youth Service (NYS) are progressing on with a clean up exercise and other projects.
